Here we aim to keep you updated on shoots, videos, great new reads, meetings, workshops, events and screenings. It’s been five years since we started this inspiring project with hundreds of volunteers putting in thousands of hours and at last we have a great documentary feature film as well as this portal.

We have some more great videos too, with excellent lectures from the Glasgow Beyond a Boundary conference, a terrific launch video filmed at the Oval featuring Selma James, several filmed legacy lectures, an introductory video, an on the streets filmed survey and numerous Liverpool Black Jacobins conference videos, all featuring. Thank you so much to eveyone who has contributed to date.

We are also grateful to everyone who has taken part in our Read-a-thons and supported our appeals, these have been great events and invaluable for keeping the project going.

The year ahead is going to be busy, busy, busy to keep our portal updated and get our ultimate film screened everywhere. If you have a few hours to help out, would like to screen the film at your college, workplace, community centre or simply with friends, or have material to add to this portal, we’d love to hear from you.
